Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers say this HP ProBook 445 G8 Renewed unit generally performs well for office and everyday use, with many noting it feels fast, looks close to new, and offers good value for the price. One Amazon listing for the same model highlights positive comments about performance, cosmetic condition, and speed, while a related Amazon review snippet also mentions that it was received like new and was very satisfying overall.
Reddit users discussing the Amazon Renewed ProBook 445 G8 were less uniformly positive, with at least one buyer calling a renewed 256GB version disappointing and rating the refurb only a B- grade. That suggests quality can vary between renewed units even when the model itself is well regarded.
Notebook review sites describe the non-renewed HP ProBook 445 G8 favorably for quiet operation, strong Ryzen 5000-series performance, and solid battery life for office work. The main recurring criticism is the display, which some reviewers find mediocre or not especially bright.
- Common praise: fast performance, quiet operation, decent battery life, good build quality, and value for work tasks.
- Common complaints: display brightness/quality and occasional renewed-unit cosmetic or condition issues.
- Overall impression: a good business laptop for productivity, with renewed-condition consistency being the biggest risk.
