Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers appear to like the large 15.6-inch screen, quick boot times, and light feel for the price, while some mention mixed battery life and basic performance from the Intel Celeron N3350. Reviews elsewhere for the same C523NA line echo that it is a budget-friendly Chromebook suited to browsing, schoolwork, and streaming, but not heavy multitasking or demanding apps.
Laptop Mag describes the C523NA as offering a solid aluminum chassis, a 1080p touch screen, and a decent value, while noting weaker battery life. PCMag also praises the design and sufficient specs for Chrome OS, but records only moderate battery life in testing. On Reddit and forum-style discussions surfaced in search results, the recurring themes are good portability and screen size, offset by modest speed and limitations typical of an entry-level Chromebook.
- Amazon reviewers: strong value, big screen, fast startup, mixed battery feedback.
- Laptop Mag: solid design, good display, weaker battery life.
- PCMag: good for Chrome OS basics, but not a powerhouse.
- Reddit/forum sentiment: fine for light use, not ideal for heavy workloads.
