SIMPLIHOME Burlington 72" Wide Solid Wood TV Stand in Mahogany Brown

Editor's Take: The SIMPLIHOME Burlington is a substantial, traditional-style TV stand made from solid wood rather than particleboard or MDF. Amazon reviewers praise its sturdy construction, attractive appearance, value, and ability to support large televisions. Target reviewers likewise describe the stand as very nice, sturdy, and a good-looking addition to the room, while Walmart reviewers call it beautiful, well made, and a strong piece of furniture.

The Mahogany Brown finish receives mostly positive feedback, though one Amazon reviewer says it looks more reddish brown than the chocolate brown suggested by the product photos. Several shoppers appreciate how well it coordinates with other mahogany furniture; Target and Walmart reviewers specifically mention that it matched their existing pieces. The four-cabinet design provides useful media storage, and reviewers say the finished stand looks considerably better than typical flat-pack furniture.

Assembly is the main consideration. Amazon reviewers report that the instructions are reasonably clear, the pieces are labeled, and the stand can be assembled with basic screwdrivers, with one customer finishing in about two and a half hours. Other Amazon feedback describes the process as difficult, citing inaccurate starter holes and concerns about drilling precision. Walmart reviewers include both positive comments about clear directions and a complaint about a broken shelf on arrival. The stand is also heavy, so moving and assembling it may be easier with two people.

Overall, Amazon, Target, and Walmart reviewers see the Burlington as a durable, attractive, good-value upgrade over disposable media furniture. Expect a heavy package, a potentially time-consuming assembly, and a Mahogany Brown color with noticeable reddish undertones.
