Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers say this HP 17 laptop is generally fast, easy to set up, and good for multitasking, with several buyers praising its overall value and solid everyday performance. Mixed feedback shows up around the display, build quality, and storage expectations, and a few reviewers reported units that would not start or work properly.
Independent review sites describe it as a strong big-screen home-office machine on paper, especially because of the Core i7-1255U, 64GB RAM, and 2TB SSD, but they also point out the low-resolution 17.3-inch panel as a weakness. Review blogs note the same split: strong specs and speed, but concerns about the screen and reliability.
YouTube results include several videos specifically about this model, with titles focused on reviews and performance. The most relevant ones appear to be a dedicated review of the HP 17 Laptop i7-1255U with 64GB RAM and another broad HP 17 laptop review discussing whether it is worth it for work, school, and streaming.
- Amazon reviewers: fast booting, smooth multitasking, easy setup, good value.
- Amazon reviewers: mixed opinions on screen brightness/resolution, build quality, and some defective units.
- Review sites: strong productivity specs, but the display is a notable compromise.
