Editor's Take
Amazon-style and review-site coverage for the ASUS TUF Gaming F16 (2025) is broadly positive on performance, with several reviewers saying the RTX 5050 version delivers strong 1080p gaming and benefits from a higher power limit. Tom's Hardware says the laptop has a great display and excellent gaming performance, but notes that 512GB storage feels cramped, storage speed is slow, and battery life is only average.
Independent review sites echo that the RTX 5050 performs well for the price, often comparing it favorably to lower-power RTX 4060 laptops. PCVenus and TechToyReviews both describe it as a solid value choice for gaming, while also implying that storage upgrades would help and that the CPU is somewhat overbuilt relative to the GPU. The Sforum review and Laptop88 also praise the cooling, display, and overall gaming smoothness, but point out that ray tracing can reduce performance sharply.
Across the available sources, the main concerns are limited 512GB storage, average battery life, and pricing that may feel high if the buyer only wants gaming value. The overall impression is that this exact configuration is a capable mid-range gaming laptop with good thermals and a strong screen, especially for buyers who want an RTX 5050 machine rather than the cheapest possible option.
